Moraga Triathlon - Saturday, April 22, 2017 (Last Saturday of April)
The Moraga Triathlon brings together serious athletes, families, a few in the over-70's crowd, young children, and business and town staff teams to bike and run in Moraga'a hills, and swim a few laps in Campolindo High School's pool. Moraga Community Faire - Saturday, May 13, 2017
The Moraga Community Faire & Car Show will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 in the town’s Rheem Valley Shopping Center - offering a wonderful opportunity for a “family fun day” with a climbing wall, bounce house, games, music, arts and crafts, local food trucks, local wine and over 70 amazing classic cars. Moraga 4th of July Celebration
Moraga goes all out for this national celebration with its many local traditions, starting off with a Fun Run for all ages at 7:30 a.m. This is followed by a Dog Parade, a Pancake breakfast, a Bike Parade, old fashioned games, a family Magic Show, and lots of Community Booths, all centered in the Moraga Commons Park. Towards evening, music from the stage fills the air, and at dark, the sky is filled with spectacular fire works as folks gather on lawns, parking lots, roof tops, and open fields to watch the "the bombs bursting in air". www.moraga.ca.us

CAIFF Film Festival

Pear and Wine Festival
The Moraga Commons is the site of this annual family friendly event that celebrates Moraga's pear history and its growing vineyards. Lafayette Community Events

Dogtown Downtown – Saturday, April 29, 2017
Dogtown Downtown will be held on Saturday, April 29 from 10am to 1pm (rain or shine) in downtown Lafayette at the Lafayette Library & Learning Center and Lafayette Plaza Park. The event starts at 10am with a doggie parade. Enjoy demonstrations, exhibits, marketing & swag. Contests include Looks Most Like Owner, Best Costume, and Best Team Trick, (register your pet for the contests at 9:30am). Dogs must be social, friendly and on leash at all times.

Taste of Lafayette – Tuesday, May 16, 2017 (3rd Tuesday in May)
The 15th Annual Taste of Lafayette will be held on Tuesday, May 16 from 5:30pm to 9:00pm.  The tour begins at the Bank of the West in Downtown Lafayette with a wine & beer reception including appetizers and musical entertainment. Ticket holders go at their own pace to any or all of the participating restaurants. Then return for coffee and a dessert reception at the Bank of the West from 8:00-9:00pm. Rock the Plaza – Fridays in June
Lafayette's Summer concert series takes place each Friday night in June in Lafayette's Plaza Park at the corner of Mt. Diablo Boulevard and Moraga Road. All shows start at 6:00pm and are presented free of charge. Art & Wine Festival – Saturday, September 16 & Sunday, September 17, 2017 (Third Weekend in September)
Considered by many to be the Bay Area’s favorite End of the Summer Party, the 22nd Annual Art and Wine (and Music) Festival takes place on Saturday, September 16 (10am-7pm) and Sunday, September 17 (10am-6pm). Continuous Music & Dancing - Food: choice is everywhere including Lafayette's Restaurant Row fare - Unique Wine & Beer offerings - Original Fine Art & Crafts - Family and Dog Friendly. Trick or Treat Street – Friday, October 27, 2017 (Friday before Halloween)
For a fun, safe Halloween event, children and their parents are invited to Trick-or-Treat on Mt. Diablo Blvd. from Oak Hill Rd. to Dewing Ave. and in La Fiesta Square from 4:00-6:00pm. All participating businesses will display a “Trick-or-Treat Poster” and balloons. Please come in costume to receive a special treat. Don’t forget to bring a Trick-or-Treat bag.

23rd Annual Reservoir Run – Sunday, October 22, 2017
The Lafayette Chamber of Commerce and the City of Lafayette are co-sponsors of the Reservoir Run which is traditionally held on the last Sunday in October. Beneficiaries of the event are the local schools and the services and programs of the Chamber. The Lafayette Reservoir Run is the city’s most popular “family affair”, involving kids, parents, grandparents, and hundreds of serious runners from throughout the Bay Area. 2200-2500 participants compete in a 10k or 5k Certified Runs and a 2 mile run/walk for fun through the heart of the downtown, around the reservoir and back. Sprinters, walkers, the “stroller brigade” and many of Lafayette’s top four legged residents share the streets on that festive Sunday morning. www.lafayettechamber.org/events/reservoir-run/

In 2014, LamorindaWeb collaborated with the three chambers of commerce to promote Lamorinda Presents - a community calendar highlighting the major events Lamorinda has to offer. LamorindaWeb also presents a annual home show, Lamorinda Home Expo the last weekend in January.
