Dozens of films will be screened over 7 days starting Sept 10, some of them shorts, other documentaries and feature length films, most created by independent film makers from around the world, including the Bay Area. This annual event offers a unique opportunity to meet film directors as well as actors and actresses, and to hear some of the stories behind the creation of a film.
Tab Hunter will beat the Rheem Theatre for Opening Night of CAIFF, Thursday, Sept. 10th at 6:30 PM. This is going to be a wonderful community event with an excellent documentary that will give us the behind the scenes story of how the studios in the 1950s and today used their power in relationship to what films the great stars would be in or not.
